I believe it is through awareness and balance of our inner beings, their desires and needs, that we experience most joy and fulfilment. Our modern society and lifestyles often suppress our true selves, and I feel a lack of connection to ourselves and communities to be a major cause of current world issues. We can benefit greatly from being open to our experience as well as that of others.
