ARTIST

Creatively as an individual Open Being thrives upon turntables, vocalises upon microphones and ignites pages with insight. Although embracing of openness he has a solid core… A paradox that is Open Being.

UNIVERSAL TRUTH

My outlook is that a complete understanding of the universe is beyond human comprehension, and so even the core scientific theories of the modern world are actually philosophy until proven. Even the experts have differing and diverse perspectives. I suggest that there is as many world perspectives as there are people, we derive our own sense of perspective from our own unique experience and sense of knowing. However there can be thought a universal truth and experience that we all contribute and tap into, it is this universal truth, beyond comprehension, that I place my faith in.

I have approached spiritual texts from a variety of faith traditions in search of truth and purpose in life. Although diverse, I see a uniting theme of love for each other, nature and its force of creation, which may be termed as God, to be common throughout.

A passage of scripture that I particularly resonate with is:

“I thank God, whom I serve, as my ancestors did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers. 4 Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy. 5 I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.

6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” (2 Timothy 1-2 Bible – New International Version)

TREE OF LIFE

Together we are the roots to a tree of humanity that is amongst a forest of nature. We collectively make sense of our world, sharing and exchanging thoughts drawn upon our collective consciousness. We all have potential to inspire others and grow towards the light. The thoughts and ideas that we engage with become ourselves, like us they are alive and with nourishment can grow strong like trees lasting many years, reaching beyond our lifetimes.
